Yes, you have to open a book and read.
OK, we know you are going to use the internet but you still must read.
And we all know that you are going to use Wikipedia, just don't make it the only site you use. Check with your teacher to make sure that you can even use Wikipedia. There was a time when all librarians and teachers thought Wikipedia was not a good site to use because anyone could add information. This has changed. You may use it to begin your research if you have little or no knowledge of your topic but make sure to use other sources to corroborate what you learned. Check with the librarian for online databases that may help your research.
The most important thing to remember while reading is to keep focused on your essential question. Stop reading if it is not answering the question or helping you prove your point. Do not waste your time reading unimportant, unessential information.
